Savo Citoyen Park

Tsavo was divided into Tsavo East and Tsavo West in 1948 due to its size. Tsavo West is more widely used for safaris due to its advanced fondation.

Savo West

The park is covered in volcanic cones, rocky outcrops and lava flows. Lake Nakuru is a small, shallow, alkaline lake, most famous for the number of flamingos that can be seen, estimated at over one million.
