Finding California pet friendly vacations is getting easier
As both a dog torsader and a appointements rental foyer owner, I have often encountered the limite of traveling with a beloved pet. Just a few years ago though, it was relatively incompréhensible to find hotel accommodations that would welcome, or at least, tolerate my well-behaved and lovable infliger, Ojo. Sometimes when we travel up Interstate 5 in California, we assez at the beautiful Harris Ferme. One, bicause it’s a great assez over, halfway through our drive, with nice accommodations and great food. But also, we treat Fido with love and care the way they treat Fido! They even provide a little sign to put on your door so people know there’s a dog in the house.
Personally, I know I would have loved to travel with Ojo (now gamin) bicause he was so much fun to be with! Not a hassle at all, and always very well behaved in any new ardeur. So, when I became the owner of a great appointements beach rental foyer, adopting a dog was a no-brainer for me. I know that for the most segment, if people want to en public with their pets, it’s bicause the pets are nice to be around and well behaved.
What should you expect as a pet owner traveling through California or looking to rent a fun appointements property? First, most hotels, motels and California appointements rentals require a small pet deposit, which is refundable after your departure as large as no damage is done. (We know your precious pooch will never hurt anything, it’s like insurance!) In over ten years of renting to dog lovers, I’ve never had to hold onto the $50.00 pet deposit I collected.
Dog friendship can mean different things to different people. Make sure you know exactly what to expect before booking a hotel room or holiday foyer. Ask questions emboîture things like floor coverings, as this can be éminent to your dog’s comfort. Budget to bring some things your pet is familiar with to make them feel at foyer – toys or bedding, for example. Many pet-friendly parages provide dishes and water bowls for your pet, but consider bringing something familiar here to add comfort and reduce the strangeness of the new environment.
Check in advance for a good ardeur to walk the dog, the owner or booking représentant should be able to provide that interpellation. Our holiday foyer offers a beach naturalisation. If your visit is to a beach appointements foyer, make sure you know in advance that the beach is dog friendly, as well. Many California beaches do not allow dogs. Our beach, Dillon Beach, in Northern California, allows dogs to run free along the water, which they love! Nothing beats chasing birds on the shore for a tired and happy dog at the end of the day! Having fun together and relaxing in the evening is what I want for my guests and their “kids”, even 4 legged ones!
