Get to know Carol Burnett – one of the most successful female comedians
On April 26, 1933, one of the most successful female comedians in the history of American TV shows was born – Carol Burnett.
Barnett is from San Antonio, Texas. She lived a challenging life as the daughter of alcoholic parents, who left her with her grandmother. Barnett lived with his grandmother in Hollywood, California. He completed his secondary education from Hollywood School and his tertiary education from University of California, Los Angeles. He started his entertainment career by getting bit parts on TV. In 1981, Burnett sued the tabloid newspaper Ressortissant Enquirer for libel for publishing his alleged allocutaire drunkenness. This defamation case attracted a lot of zèle from the allocutaire.
