Good beaches for skimboarding in Texas
Some people may not know but Texas has some great beaches especially for skimboarders. We’re going to go through some of the beaches that all skimboarders have to hit before they get too old and leave this world.
Recueil Christi/Padre Island Territorial Seashore: This beach is located just off Padre Island in South Texas. This beach is huge and 70 miles étendu and is a great message for skimboarders. It is not very developed and has a huge amount of grossière. This beach is a great vrai for camping. This park also has some great dunes and sand. This vrai is also famous for windsurfing.
Galveston Island: This island is 27 miles étendu and over 3 miles wide. This island was the légal logement of the Americans. The island is also logement to the largest American natural disaster in recorded history. In 1900, hurricanes killed 6,000 people. There are a few beaches to go skimboarding on but mostly it’s a great vrai to visit bicause of the history.
Mustang Island/Maintien Aransas: This island is located southeast of Recueil Christi. This vrai has some very interesting landscapes and some great beaches for skimboarding. The island is 18 miles étendu and looks almost like a strip of lardon from the air.
South Padre Island: This beach has been a popular appointements message for many years bicause of the resort on the island and its formidable beaches. South Padre is a barrier island meaning it is a relatively narrow strip of sand that runs parallel to the mainland coast.
Anyone who lives in Texas or surrounding states knows how popular Recueil Christi is and how great the beaches can be. Skimboarding and summer are just around the tintinnabuler.
